There might be Unicode special characters in the software directory path.

The software failed to load a DLL file.
Make sure to copy all the files when you update the software.
If you get this error just before playing a song, you should install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package".

"BASS initialization failed. Speakers might be disconnected or disabled."

Check if your speakers are available.
The first step is to check whether you can play sounds in another software.

While there's no sound problem, the screen is blacking out.

Try again after installing DirectX runtime.

"#Error 38 -->内部エラーが発生しました(38)" error

Try again after installing "Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Package".

Or you may have not copied "bass_vst.dll" when you updated the software.

Sound effects are unavailable while holding FX buttons.

You may have not copied "libs" folder when you updated the software.

"Cannot find the chart file" error

There might be Unicode special characters in the chart directory path.
K-Shoot MANIA doesn't support Unicode directory paths, so rename the chart folder.

"The latest version of K-Shoot MANIA is required to play this course" error

There might be some syntax errors in kco files, or newer version features are used in the course.

Window size exceeds screen size.

Choose 3 or 2 for "View" -> "Number of measures per column". This will reduce the window height.

If you get this error when you save chart file, the file path might contain Unicode special characters, the target directory might be read only, or the disk capacity might be insufficient.

"editor.exe has stopped working" error

Drag & drop functionality may cause this error.

You can disable this by starting editor.exe while holding Ctrl+Shift.
